Does anyone know where I can get the little rubber inserts that go into the armrests? And for that matter what r they called? My hhr was a rental n all r missing. Also, is there supposed to b an insert next to the shifter? My hhr is an 09.

It's in the illustration, #14 and is described as a cup liner! If you click door panel trim and click the view illustration you should find it! Your local dealer should also be able to locate it if you tell them your looking for a cup liner!

I thought GM did away with those inserts at one point? Or was that just the center rear one in the console?

My 09 has them. When I first got the car they weren't there because the prep guy must have vaccuumed them up. Dealer then ended up getting cobalt ones which are different. They then got me the right ones. I used a dab of GOOP Automotive glue to keep them in place. They can still be pulled up later because the GOOP is flexible and peels up...
