ya know the slang term for a handlegrip
has anyone installed one or can it be installed on the passengers side up high like there are on some vehicles. some of my passengers mentioned it and they said it would be nice to have one in the car

 

I'm not positive, but may be some wiring running up the pass side "A" Pillar..

In any event, I would check before drilling screw holes to mount a handle..

Just sayin..

 

Gotta be careful. My 09 has side curtain air bags-no place to mount handles.

 

Leave the A-Pillars alone if you have the side airbags, drilling into them would really ruin your day, and cost a small fortune to fix.

 

Most vehicles have mounting tabs welded in for the handle, you would never want to just drill into the pillar, weakens it. If..big if.. anyone wanted to attempt this I would suggest going to the junk yard and looking around at vehicles that already have this to get an idea what needs to be done, correctly.From a legal standpoint..dont. If something should ever go wrong, ins could give you a hard time because it was not a factory design nor safety tested......if it were ever to be a cause of injuries...just saying
