Satin shift knob from Cobalt

Hello,
I got a new Satin shift knob from a Cobalt to match my HHRs Satin interior/ exterior parts.
Wonder why GM never advertised this for the HHR?

I was looking for one of those for my HHR. Was it easy to install?

Yes it was real easy to install. The leather boot or chrome stem, which ever you have pops down to expose a allen key on the back side of the shifter knob. Loosen that and the knob comes right off.
Install the new one and pull the boot back up til it snaps is place.

If you order it new from chevy It comes with instructions.

Cheers!
