I will call her and we need to get things really rolling this week. I've been done sick for 2 weeks. I'm among the living now and time is ticking away. I'll be on later tonight. 7:30 est.

Ok, we have to get things firmed up. If anyone is coming, please email me at dave@enrightpc.com ~ in the email let me know if you're staying at the hotel a or driving down for the day. I'm having to much fun going thru all the posting in 3 different threads trying to come up with a count. I'll call Linda of L&B Boutique for the door prize to raffle off.
So far we have the BBQ on Saturday noon. We can do the battle field tour in the afternoon. I have a great place we can do Saturday dinner, next to the General Lee HQ Quailty Inn called The Appalachian Brewery & Rest., they can handle a big group. Friday, after dinner there is the Cannon Ball Malt shop for a cruz to town.
I welcome ANY other ideas or options. PLEASE....!!!

If anyone needs a room for Saturday night, one will be available today as I am not going to stay overnight; I will just be up for the day on Saturday, so I am cancelling my room.

Here's another thing I think most people will want to see while they are in Gettysburg...The new Visitor's Center opens up on Thursday...the $103 million facility will be within walking distance of the Hotel on the other side of the cemetary...1195 Baltimore Pike (Route 97)

Here's a story about it in my local paper today...

UPDATE as of 12-April-2008

Hello Everyone!!

Linda from HHR Boutique contacted me and is sending "goody bags" for our event. I will have them during the BBQ. I'm not sure how many she will send; I told her that as of today we have 32 folks attending the BBQ.

The theme for the BBQ is "Rock Around The Clock", so wear your best 1950s outfit.

I look forward to seeing everyone at Renn Kirby Chevrolet at 12 noon Saturday, May 17. Ok...that's a lie...I look forward to seeing everyone's HHR on Saturday!

All the best,

Barry Lyons aka MWG2
