If there's a good place for gas close by, then I'm in.

what brand do you put in Stitch II?...there are gas stations galore around here...the going rate is 3.69/gallon for regular at this moment...4 for premium...

BTW, Dave - are you still planning to tour Harley-Davidson on Friday? If so what time? I unexpectedly wound up with Friday off of work so I'm coming in earlier than expected, and the tour sounds like fun.
I'm planning on going from here to York, PA for the tour. The more the merrier, what time do you think you can make York, PA. I'm leaving around 7:00am and with a breakfest stop should make it around 1:30 - 2:00 I'm guessing. I'll email you my cell number.

I put in whatever's cheapest, with the sole exception of Res gas (gas from the reservation - heard too many folks having issues with the stuff). $3.69 isn't bad, considering the cheapest I saw on my drive in to work this morning was $3.78, and that was at a combination gas/wash place (cheapest elsewhere was $3.82). I normally get my gas from my local supermarket (Tops).

I'm probably leaving around 6:30 in the morning or so on Friday. My directions have me needing around 6 1/2 hours from Buffalo to Gettysburg whether I take the thruway or not. If you have a target address, send it in your e-mail, I'll MapQuest it. Thanks!

If you guys need any help getting down here let me know...mapquest isn't exactly the most accurate...I have some friends in the Finger Lakes area...& it always tells them to follow I 81 south down to Chambersburg then over Route 30 east to Gettysburg...thats way way out of the way...& if you go to Harley...I can give you a few heads up on the exits...they are real strange (& not marked well either as to which road is correct) if you aren't familiar with the area.

P.S....if you have a boat...you might want to bring it along...because it is absolutely pouring here...3rd night in 4 days...I think I might go get started on my Ark awhile...

I think I have an identical route to Dave's, and I'd be willing to meet up probably in the Harrisburg area. I have an old map, but I'm showing RT15 meeting 83 at Camp Hill - as good as any place to meet around that area, I think.

Actually...Route 15 & I 83 never cross...they just get real close together at Camp Hill...you take Route 581 (2nd exit ramp) over from 15 to get to 83...Route 581 is the exit right after the Camp Hill Shopping Mall...that might be a good meeting point for you...There used to be an Arby's & a Howard Johnson's outside the Mall, right along 15 & a Hardee's on the corner at the Light (but things do change...I haven't been up that particular route in a while)...

As you come down Rt11 into Camp Hill, you'll turn right to follow Rt11 to 581. There is a intersection (Market St.) there is an Arby's on RT11/15 after Maket St.
