Hudson Valley members?

Just wondering how many folks on the board are from the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT, eastern... PA I know that's four states), particularly the Hudson Valley. Any clubs in the tri-state area?
Thanks, Jim

I'm in New Paltz every summer for light bouldering, hiking, gorge swimming, general vacation in the Shawangunks. Not sure we'll bring the HHR this year because we often need more storage. Mine has no roof rack to stack.

Stop in and say hello at our bicycle racing track if you're in New Paltz. We're open from May to Oct. Spectators are free. We are there on Tuesday nites for practice and Thursday nites for racing. The track is a couple of miles north of New Paltz village on Clearwater Rd, just off Rt32 on the right.

If you see a black HHR SS parked in back of the registration building, that's me. If not, my wife is there. For better directions go here:

From April through October, my black SS half-panel can be found parked at Orange County Fair Speedway every Saturday night.

Anyone / Everyone is invited to spend a great night at the races!

You'll need to wash the HHR on Sunday.

Orange County Fair Speedway is the oldest continuously operating dirt track in the U.S. It hosted the first auto race in 1919, but the track was built for horse racing in 1857.

In addition to four regular classes (from full-fendered to ground-pounding big block modifieds), the crowd is friendly, and the food is superb!

See y'all in April!

87Silver I am trying to find out some information about some old members at your track I would like to communicate with you. What would be the best way? My son use to race at your track frequently for about 3 years ending about 7 years ago and we made some great friends there which we have lost contact with. My son has not raced in about 5 years and now at the age of 24 is starting again this spring. Our home track is Rotterdam. Let me know how to get in touch with you. John

Click on "87silver" in the left where my profile is listed and a dropdown menu will appear. You can either select "send a private message to 87silver" or "send an e-mail to 87silver".

Good to hear that you used to race at Tri-City BMX and are still interested. We have many friends there as well and have been racing there since about '04.

Jumpin' Jacks was always a good stop after the races and my be a good rendezvous point for an HHR get together sometime over the summer. Hmm...
