Talking **Lots Of Pics** mods and the first shots of the darkness

Well i finally got around to taking a couple shots today. These are not great shots but hey, at least i finally got some on here

The Darkness

Stock Grill

One Down

Two Down

Sanded, ready for primer

Primered

Last Coat Drying

Test Fitting Mesh

And Voila, New grill

I still have a few more things to do yet, theres a little more paint and bondo work to be done on the grill, but i really wanted to get it on there so i'll take it back off and fix it later. I also am going to remove the gray pastic on the bumper and paint it.

So... whatcha think?, other than the fact that my car really need a bath, lol

Looks Good, nGlad you said something about the gray strip on the bottom, cause was going to ask why is it off on one side.
Keep up the good work!

lol, the grey airdam is off on the passenger side because i hit a racoon, which is also why i decided to put the mesh on the lower. a few more inches to the side and he would have been through my radiator. as it was he broke the airdam, and knocked out the plastic fog cover on the pass. side. what i meant to say is that i will be pulling the gray bumper insert and painting it soon.

Yupper, although it was big enough to qualify as a small dog, lol. Start to finish was about 8 hours, started at 6 pm, was putting the last bolt in at 2am when my girl was getting ready to go to work. So i didnt do too bad on time, especially considering the time it took me to get the guts to make the first cut. After that it was pretty well the point of no return. I was really surprised at how easy it was.

That grille is the sh@t! That took serious guts to do that. I commend you on your bravery. I would not have the stomach to do that myself. Great vision and awesome turnout. I would put that on my black HHR anyday!! Congrats! Todd (Uma)
