I like the grill. It is quite different. The only thing I do not like is the location of the bowtie...a bit too low on the grill IMHO.

Thats what I was thinking. Its seem like it would look better if it was in the space right above where it is located. Either way its still a nice car..

I'm just not feeling it. I'm glad some of you like it, but to me it is just not quite right in a few ways.

The bowtie is just wrong there. Its also looks unbalanced. Kinds top-heavy.

But hey, that's what i like about this forum, anyone can like what they want.

Actually bow-tie placement was G.M suggestion. I also had a different grill design, but the one G.M wanted is the one that's on their now. Heck I can't complain, because of their suggestions it won the SEMA design award. I like to also thank Steve for posting pictures. This HHR will be feature in the up coming magazine issues so far: Motor Trend, Modified Chevy, Trucken, & Street Trucken.

Just wondering what your design for the grill was like? The one used looks well made, just unbalanced to me. I think it would have looked even better if both the top and bottom section were the same width; either like the top or the bottom.

Any performance mods?
