Green!
I agree, in fact I hoped that for 2008 the HHRwould have been offered in a similiar color, just a little deeper with the metallic of Sunburst Orange, very similiar to a mid 1990's Pontiac green, which I believe was unique to Pontiac and not offered by the other GM divisions. -Sam

I agree... Cool color green...
Does anyone have any idea why car manufacturers are afraid to go with more bold colors?
I would just love to see that green or a bright Corvette yellow or how about an actual bright orange or even some factory 2-tones...

Actually, according to my Dad who works in paint at GM, blue and green colors have cyclical demand. Ten years ago, green peaked. Now it's all about blue. Reds, whites, grays, and blacks all have consistent demand. Orange and yellow also have cyclical demand, but they're not "mainstream" colors. Right now orange is hot, which makes sense because it's on the opposite side of the color wheel from blue. When green is hot again, so is yellow. Funny how that all works.

I'm not a big fan of green...but I like that. I know in NASCAR, it is considered somewhat unlucky to drive a green car. Here's a link to a story at snopes.com that explains wome of the reasons for the color green on an automobile being considered unlucky. Seems silly...but I'm sure people believe some of this too.

I agree, only I am in favor of a more olive shade, not army drab, but not too bright either. I think it would serve well for a military motif too if you were into cosmetic mods. OMG Hillsdale, I would have bought that in a SNAP if it had been on MY lot!!!
