Official Panel HHR post (PIX ONLY)

Updated my Grille. (See page 7 for my other pics posted in this thread.)
This is a cross between Chrome OEM and Billet Aluminum Grilles. A stock chrome oem grille is cut and sanded to fully Frame the billet aluminum grille, by removing 2 of the lower billet bars and grinding shaping sanding and even bending the whole thing to fit inside the "Frame".
I like the framed look better than seeing the bare ends on the billet grills. At least on the HHR.
John "Framed" the first one like this and he also assisted me with info and pics of his install,Thanks John.
A nice clean Finished look for a Billet Grille I think.
(Too early yet to put on my Boyd Smoothie II's) I Hate Winter.
A little wedging and bending in action to "Fit" the billet grill into the "Frame"
You can see the 2 lower bars I cut off of it in this pic.
Checking final overal fit before Install.

My Black Panel Loves the Chrome!
My Panel just CRAVES the look of CHROME!
Be it Chrome, Mirror Polished Stainless Steel, and even Mirror Polished Billet Aluminum.
FINALLY getting warn enough weather to start getting some things Installed.
Needs a Bath, got fingerprints all over it today, but gotta Wait 24 hours for the 3M Tape and Primers to fully cure.
Still Up and Down temp wise so Today was my window of opportunity with mid 60's temps today.
Placed another order today with Maggie at Race and Street.
I'll post a couple pics once that stuff arrives, and our weather holds out.
The Bumper Trim Cap I still have a real Thin Narrow edge piece to put on to "Finish" it off.
And now with Black Heated Leather.
Even bought the Climate Control with the Heated seat buttons.
