It's easier to get a plate from a (clear) picture and run a search for the owner's address. I don't mind having unexpected company as long as I know who they are Plus, I kinda like the textured graphic!

Thanks for the explanation! I guess I don't understand how to track someones plates or why someone would want to. I know police and the DMV can check your plates but I though they were about the only ones that could. I'm usually a pretty trusting person. I guess I don't think like that or something. Maybe I should block mine out? Nah, I don't mind if you guys stop by for an HHR party!
