Thanks courthousedeb, I thought I posted the pics right. I dunno what I did wrong. I'll try other pics later.

The lower pic was taken this morning at home and the top one was taken last night in town. I have to drive about a mile on a gravel road and you can see the dust on the lower part of the car on the top picture, I went home after I bought it to get some music and didn't wash it before the pic. I have running boards coming next week. I put a hundred miles on it yesterday just cruising and listening to music. p

I did the fuse trick when I bought it and about 1/3 were fairly loose. The salesman said, "wow I can do this next time I sell one, thanks!" So, thanks to all of you for helping me feel, and be, so much more informed in so many ways.

This forum ROCKS.

Hey riverwind...the only thing you didn't do was click on the little icon that has the mountains on it and insert the url into there. It's as simple as that.

Thanks Deb, now i remember. Guess I was just excited.

cj, I cheated on the pics. I use to do photography for a living.

For everyone just a quick tip. If you use the zoom on your camera (telephoto), then just back up until the car fits the frame, the compression of the telephoto lense looks better than the distortion of the closer, wider angle lens settings. At least in my opinion.

Also squatting down and shooting from a lower angle often helps.

txsman, yea I'm real happy with the color. I think the HHR looks good in all the colors and usually don't get bright colors, but like I said, I'm happy with the red.

Now I'm going to start a list for SoCal.

Nice ride! You are now among the few, the proud, the owners of Sport Red Metallic! Great color choice!

Welcome Riverwind! I agree with Firewatcher in regards to being one of the few and proud with the Sport Red Metalic. I bought my sport red on the 4th of July and have only seen one other of the same color in the area! Congrats!
