hey paul, i recommend getting a polarizer for your camera (and if you don't have one already get a ultra clear UV protector, which is basically just clear glass to protect your lens). The UV is for all the time shooting so you don't en up breaking your lens, you break a piece of glass instead and the polarizer you will benefit a lot from.

I wanted to post it in one about photos, even though there aren't care ones in here. A Polarizer will allow you to remove a lot of reflections off of your car when taking photos. So instead of your hhr having reflection of sky all over it you can a hhr that looks black.

The only thing with the polarizer is you need to have more light since it's like shooting through tinted glass.

And get off the Auto setting! Use your manual settings!

If you want some more info or some comparison shots let me know, i use one for work and play.

the ones you took of Bri in the shade did you switch your W/B to the shade setting? and what were your focus points in them? Not hating but I also think the best pics (as far as quality goes) are the ones that Bri took of you

i was n program when i took pics of bre. she was in auto mode when takin pics of me. i focused on her n the pics. i didnt touch w/b settings.. its okay if hers were better, this isnt a competition. just having fun with the camera. even if i suck.. i dont understand w/b , ISO, aperture, ect...
