If the AC is running it's probably the compressor cycling on and off...... compressor puts quite a load on the engine and you will feel the difference between engaged or disengaged. If everything is smooth without the AC running then this is more than likely what you are feeling and I would say is normal for the car.

I had something like that occasionally with my old 06. It happened w/o the A/C on as well. Others have also commented on it and I am not aware of any fix. It never amounted to more than a minor annoyance.

Odd mine doesn't seem to jerk. So I can't say if that is normal or not at all.

Could be the torque converter unlocking late.

Was your gas tank also quite full?

The lurching is a common complaint/question and I believe it was attributed to a certan level of gas sloshing around in the tank.

Most GM engines will kind of "surge" slightly when idling?

My 06 did that, and others have complained as well. There never did seem to be a fix, and if it is the same as others including myself experienced it will not get any worse.
