Unhappy 20 miles & Broken!!

Well--got 20 miles before needing to return to the Dealership.. The "SVC Tire Pressure Mon. Sys" message & light came on and the DIC shows no reading for LF tire

Dealer says "can't work on it tonite--but it's OK to drive till next week"...

So I will--and keep my right eye closed to avoid staring at that *&%$ orange light!!

I got my first report from On-star by e-mail after only 40 miles. All 4 tires read differently within a range of 37-33 lbs. Statement said all is good.
On another matter, I had my first rock hit to the windshield and survived with no damage. Just a dime size stone. Repair crew was out on the road and a truck coming the other way kicked up a stone, thank you very much.

This little tire pressure gimmick is crap. My daughters Suzuki SX4 has them too and they are always throwing a light code. It seems to be on cold mornings especially. You check the tires and they are fine.

I don't know how we managed to keep our tires inflated all these years without them!

Not to bring up a dumb subject again that has been kicked to death, but, I checked my fuse box and found @6 fuses not fully inserted or crooked/not straight. So there is some truth to the rumors maybe. Maybe a look see just for your own satisfaction? Just a dumb thought.

Thanks all--I feel a little better now... Wow, davidjb, at least I got 20 miles in before a problem!! (& mine was LF also!)...

The other 3 seem OK--shouldn't be a fuse, right??
