Can you give a more detailed description of the issues before and after the replacement? Mileage would also help along with when the power steering motor was actually replaced.

From your post I have no idea what the problem is with your car...

Need some more details... Like "it stopped"... What stopped? What does it "stopping" have to do with the eps?

We can't help if we don't know what to help with.

the power steering would go in and out on me, when i use cruise control it doesnt work going downhill, the cruise control doesnt work sometime, the steering wheel is hard to turn...these are the problems that were happening before AND STILL after their so-called replacement. i called gm and they said their was a warranty for the eps and that sounded like the problem.the mileage was around 137k when i took it in to get replaced. difference NOW IS...the wheel never locked up on me, and the car never shut off/ stopped on me- and this has happened AFTER I TOOK IT IN TO THEM...i have taken it in twice and it seems as if it gets worse after their 'repairs'.

Any competent dealer wouldn't have let the car leave leave the shop without doing the ignition switch recall... Key word "competent".

This shop doesn't seem like they quite fit that description though.
