2007 AC Issues...

New here and having a problem w/ my AC. Blowing cold, working fine until I stop the car, then water is leaking on my passenger side floor. No rain, so its not that, its just when I use the AC. And it is also happening only when it is high humidity out. Took the car to the shop, guy said he blew out the lines, but it might not work and that to really get to a clog he would have to keep the car overnight? Does this make sense to anyone/anyone else having this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Is the leak bad enough to start pooling on the floor board, or is more of a drip?

yes.....the drainage tube might be plugged up in ur a/c box where ur evaporator is. if so the a/c might even get warmer. if u look under ur car when the a/c is running u should see water dripping......when ur drain tube is clogged water cant drain so it builds up and leaks out on ur pass. floor. it could take awhile to unplug depending on the car....ive never done one in an hhr so i dont know if u would have to take the dash apart to get to it or not....

No dripping from under car like normal condensation which leads me to believe that it is a clog in the drain. Water is catching in the little bowl type thing underneath the glove box, but again only when the humidity is high. All weekend no humidity, no water.

I just fixed the same problem with my car. I tapped where the arrow is in the image (passenger side under the dash) and it freed the drain.

If it only during high humidity that it drips, have you checked the outside of the case and see if it's sweating?
