2007 Chevy HHR LT - Chrome side Mirrors not Working

I replaced my standard dull aluminum mirrors with chrome accented mirrors. I connected the wiring just fine...but they won't adjust electronically. Any ideas as to why they aren't working?

Are they brand new, or were they working on the donor vehicle?

A. does the selector switch click into position.
B. The switches go bad so often that one that works is an oddity.

Of course they are used...I am junkyard dog. My crown gets dirty there so I don't always wear it.

I have no idea if they were previously working.

I am assuming this is the selector switch. And everything clicks just fine.

The last cheap option is the fuse. #21 underhood.

Clean and dielectric grease the connectors , clean the switch contacts with a spray cleaner

If your original mirrors were working fine, it's probably not the switch. Like donbrew said, fuse #21 is the easy free check. Then oldblue's suggestion for the connectors.

FYI. The chrome part of the mirror is just a cap that snaps onto the mirror assemblies. You could just use your old mirrors (if they're in decent shape and working) take off their caps, then put on the chrome caps from the junkyard mirrors.

Well heck yeah...good thing I kept them. I will keep that in mind if the fuse is good. Thanks!
