2010 2.2L P0700 P0974 codes, no overdrive, rpms show higher on tach than thru Torque
Hi! Having some trouble here
2010 2.2L P0700 P0974 codes, no overdrive, rpms show higher by 200-400 rpm on tachometer than thru Torque monitoring. Also do not have cruise control anymore.
This all started in Texas driving through the last ice freeze storm on the highway.
Cleaned TCM module connections.
Reseated and cleaned grounds for transmission.
Cleaned connections on top of transmission.
Cleaned fusebox connections under hood.
Have not had filter or oil change on transmission, Goodyear says it could use a change, with 160K miles they won't do it.
Also tried disconnecting the battery for 30 mins and reconnecting. Codes still throw, even after reset. P0700 always throws first. It's pending. The P0974 went from pending to stored after some test driving.
Have read through the threads I found on here and it seems to be leaning toward the solenoid.
Can anyone advise differently?
Should I change the oil and filter first to see if it fixes the problem? Added lubegard and the hard shifting quieted down.
First gear and reverse kick a bit when engaging from the shifter. If I shift to L or I it doesn't. Then to drive and we're fine. Still no overdrive. RPMs seem to be causing shift issue/kick from 1-2. 2-3 is smooth. No 3-4. If you get up to 60 mph and let off the gas it seems to shift into OD. Soon as you give gas it goes back to 3rd.
If I have to do the solenoids can anyone post a link or guide to the parts I need and a DIY?
Any advice is better than none at this point.
Trans shop says it's the 1-2 solenoid and they want $700 to fix it.
Help please!

And here

I’m thinking water in wiring connections, which coulda damaged the Solenoid
