Tell me that is not the carcass cord we are seeing - and you had previously noticed it and swapped the tires front to rear - ..........................

Yeah those are cords coming through, not a good thing, time for those tires to go man.

I sat too low and did a number at full turn :). Tires didn't mind though .

Well when you get new tires mounted on those rims, check the clearance between the spring perches on the struts and the tires very carefully. And consider investing in wheel spacers to re-establish the proper offset, thereby giving you that much more room between the tires and the structure of the vehicle.

Taking it to a reputable tire store would probably be a good idea? - let the professionals check it out for clearances and wheel alignment, and the possible need for wheel spacers.

Driving on tires in that condition right now is way more than foolish!!! I would not drive across town on those.
