2nd key fob

2nd key fob
People,
FYI.
I needed another key fob and went to the local Chevy dealer. They programmed the new one. I got home and the old key fob would not work. Went back and found out that they have to program all the key fobs at the same time. I wish they had told me while they were programming it the first time. Both are working fine now.

They chose "replace" rather than "add". "Replace" wipes out all old fobs and "Add" doesn't. Very common for techs to use replace if not told otherwise, so that someone who may find a missing or stolen fob, doesn't use it to enter the vehicle.
