Yes...it was the dealership where I bought the HHR and that's what made me so mad when they charged me that horrific rate. Because of that, I've been talking to Bryce about meeting with their people and switching to his dealership for any future service I may need on my HHR.
I agree fully Deb. They should have DL'd the software when you were scheduled to come in. Then they could have done the entire process more efficiently.

I hope Bryce gets you hooked up with a better dealer soon.

Yeah, my price was including employee discount. I think it's $98/hour. As long as it's covered under warranty, I'm okay. It's been bad enough hitching rides everywhere, but the convenience of having it worked on while and where I work can't be beat.

Deb, what else did you order from parts?

HOLY $HIT, 98 an hour, we are at 82 with a grid, so that job runs 93 and some change, but as an employee you pay 45 and hour strait up.

I ordered the part we talked about and the Mobil 1 oil cap...and that's what I'm waiting on. Other stuff is already there...just trying to save myself 2 trips out there.

I work as a heavy duty repair man and our shop rate is only 102 buck an hour. I can belive thats what the car shops are charging now.

It was $456.40 after discount with tax, including a oil pan gasket. Could there be a difference between the 2.2L and the 2.4 that maybe one has a gasket and the other doesn't?

I have a 2.4L - there is no pan gasket; it's a glue-on pan.

Look a the GM exploded view: there is no pan gasket or part number for one.

Leg pulling happening.
