Question ABS Code "C0292-1A"

I have a 2011 Chevrolet HHR, with 137,703 miles, a 2.2L and automatic transmission. A few weeks ago on my way home from work my ABS began to randomly activate as I drove down the highway. The ABS was activating when I lightly applied the brakes, and I was on bone dry pavement. I pulled over and looked over my car, thinking I had a wheel bearing or caliper hanging up. After I looked my car over, all of my wheel centers were cool to the touch, and there were no signs of a stuck caliper. I deactivated the ABS/Traction Control via the button above the radio and drove home, and the ABS continued to engage after I had "disabled" the ABS via the button above the radio. By the time I got home (15 miles) there was a message flashing in the cluster "Service ESC" and "ESC Off." I drove the car a few weeks hoping that the problem might go away with time. It has been nearly a month and I got around to stopping at an AutoZone and having the code read this last weekend. The code I was given was "C0292-1A" - "Multi Axis Acceleration Sensor Module Circuit - Performance Bias Out Of Range." I spent the weekend trying to find something on this sensor, and I am having a hard time even coming up with the location of this sensor. I would like to fix this problem so my ABS is operational by the time snow is falling...

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

That would be the yaw sensor. It lives under the passenger seat left front.
If you change it you will need to calibrate the steering angle sensor with a Tech2 or similar.

FYI
That button will not deactivate the ABS system. It is only for turning off the ESC and TCS. All the details are covered in your owners manual.
