AC Control module Part Numbers?

i have found 3 diffrent part numbers on ebay for my car 2008 chevy hhr ls 2.2L
i just took out burnt up module out of my car

part number was 15873415 oem

i buaght a 15906840 OEM

its says it will fit and they look exacty the same

just wondering why are there diffrent parts numbers for same unit ?

try it, find out. GM supercedes part numbers a lot, they also use different part numbers for the identical part for a different vehicle.

Note one is dark grey the second is ebony, that tells me it’s for different colour interior
