AC Delco Oil Filter?

I can't seem to find an AC Delco brand oil filter for the HHR? I know both the 2.2 and 2.4 use the same filter. I really like that brand, as I always use it in my other cars. Obviously they must make one for the HHR, right? Where do you guys buy it? I can't find it at AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts...

Thanks for the help!

Yep....Auto Zone.

Cheaper than my discount at the dealer (which is another last chance source).

Hmm... I checked at Auto Zone, but they don't even have an AC brand listed in their book or anything... I wonder if it's a regional thing, and in my area they don't carry it...

(BTW: I can't even find it on the Auto Zone website...)

They're only like $4-5 at the dealer, or you can get them here.

Last time I looked at Auto Zone the 457G was $9.00 or just a little over.At my dealership it's $8.67 plus tax.

I'll tell this story again, for the benefit of newbies......

When I was browsing in a recently opened Auto Zone, a salesperson came over to assist and asked if I needed assistance. ........."NO. You're not carrying the AC Oil Filters that I need". He asked which ones, did a brief search and offered a competitive brand. I declined.

A couple weeks later, I was in the same store and they had 3 of the AC filters for the HHR and 2 for the Vette. I purchased all of them. The HHR's were something like $3.83 and the Vette's were about $3.63 (MY dealer discount, brings them around $4.00 +).

Find the store manager and ask if they would stock them. After my purchase, the store manager indicated he will be stocking those filters, for further sales. A friend went recently (upon my recommendation) and purchase one of the AC filters for the HHR.

Your result may be different.

I paid only $4.39 for mine at the dealer. They need all the support we can give them.
