the AC fan clicking
it seems like every time i bring my car to the dealership for a problem, it comes back with he same problem and a new one. now my AC fan is clicking. is there anything i can do to fix it myself without bringing it to the dealership?

i might, i hear a clicking noise like one of the blades is hitting the side of a shroud or something, its not very loud and i think it might be intermittent so i need to listen to it more. but do i need to pull the whole dash out?

if the sound is coming from behind the glove box, first check the cabin filter area for leaves.
if it is coming from under the hood look around the fanside of the radiator for wear signs or impediments. The "radiator fan" normally only runs when the A/C is running.

i have this special grease from GM that is basically for dash ratels. its a special type of silicone grease. its inside the cabin, it sounds like its coming from the vent in the center on the passenger side

Check for leaves......
The fan blower motor is a "cut out to replace" item and the only way to get the "flange" to replace the motor is with a new motor from GM...... (for now at least, not sure if aftermarket will pick up on that part or not) So, forget about pulling the motor to check and then put it back.... can't be done. You may want to get the dealer involved, at least to see what they say about it.
