make sure your not in floor mode only when selecting inside vent, it wont work ( dash or dash/floor does). If your not blowing cold then you may low on r134..will still cool, but wont go cold. This is something that can be fixed in your driveway, if your comortable with it, its not that hard.
They have service kits at the local parts store. Also check your cabin air filter ( in glove box, check owners manual), if clogged you wont get the airflow to get cold....just some ideas..

Well, sort of. If you're low on R134a, you have a leak and, unless you have a leak detector, it probably should go to a shop to be proprely diagnosed and repaired. Puting refrigerant in a leaking system is a waste of money and puting so-called 'stop leak' in a leaking system is a good way to damage it. Also, shops frown on finding stop leak in the system when they recover the refrigerant to do the repairs.

Its likely your a bit low on the freon charge. Best to have it checked for leaks so any found can be repaired, and at a place where they will evacuate the system and re-charge it. More expensve, but better in the long run and for the envirenment. Just adding freon is a very temporary fix, in my experience.

Yeah somethings wrong with your AC, my '08 LT will freeze you out on a 100 degree day. Been like that from day 1.

I bought mine two years ago with 19,000 miles on it.

Somethings not working on yours for sure.

Wifes 2003 Chevy Ventures AC has sucked from day 1 and we bought the van brand new. I run that car without the cabin filter at all, to get a better flow out the vents.

Loves the AC in my Panel.

Other than making sure you have a good cabin filter and that the evaporator drain is not clogged there's really not much else you can do other than having the system checked.

The AC is one of the things I have never been happy with since day 1 on my 09 HHR.It never is cold enough.Using the recirculation button with the AC instead of the outside air button does make an improvement. It makes it cool the inside air of the car instead of the outside air.Much better.Especially after driving for a little bit.It also keeps the outside air smells(truck exhaust, skunk smells, etc.)from coming in the car.I think part of the problem is that there is so much interior space to cool down on these cars.

There might be somthing wrong with yours also because the AC in our 06 has always cooled fine from the day we purchased it in 05. I'm an AC tech and I've never had to touch the system.
