OK... I've fianally had it with the stock brake rotors on my 06 Spring Edition!! 38K and had 'em turned twice
Anyone have advice or warnings about drilled & slotted aftermarket rotors??
(and maybe nice red calipers!!) I've seen some on e'bay "R-1Concept" brand. Don't have any sources locally for this type of item so I'm looking for guidance to purchase a quality product on-line or find a recommended supplier.

I have had the R1 Concepts rotors for 12,000 miles....

They work and look great...

I had problems with my 07 at 9000 miles. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the rotors and pads and installed some rotor splash guards that were not on the car originally. I have 31000 miles on it now and that have been fine.

 

just as a warning slotted rotors will prematurely wear out your pads because the slots are for scraping off oxidation off the pads in race cars. just drilled rotors would be sufficient.
