Good point! Thank you.

That plug was recalled for me. They replaced it for free this summer. Didn't everyone get that recall? Mine's an '09.

No, that was a limited recall.

I'd scale back the enthusiasm a bit.....that's the same limited recall that Donbrew mentioned.......

They'll always claim it's a limited recall. There's a number in your owners manual to call GM. If you can't get any satisfaction there, tell them you're calling NHTSA.

NHTSA 888 327 4236

Automakers claim that problems are limited to certain years. When NHTSA finds that it extends to more years they release the hounds of hell and levy huge fines for trying to cover it up.

Okay, but until that happens, it is still a limited recall and that's all I was saying.

I rained here for the 1st time this fall. The airbag light came on again. Like before, whenever the humidity level gets high, on comes the light. What a joke.

The rain stopped and humidity went down and off went the warning light. I pulled the kick panel and the yellow airbag plug is gone. Anyone know what they did with it for this recall? I'm afraid to go back to dealer. I suspect they'll say it was some other issue and ding me $500. I wish I didn't do the recall now.
