I'm sure thats correct. When the compressor is cut off, for any reason, the evaporator is still cold and will not warm instantly, so yes you will continue to feel cold air for some period of time. I would think less time if the OAT is 105 degrees, than if it was 78 degrees.

Mine's the same way. Just did a few WOT pulls (30 to 50, 30 to 70, and 0 to 70) and didn't notice a change in a/c output whatsoever
