Alignment after strut replacement?

My HHR will soon hit 150k mile mark and I am planning to replace struts and stabilizer links. It seems like everyone has a different opinion on whether alignment after strut replacement is necessary. What are your thoughts and experiences on this?

Strut replacement doesn't (shouldn't) have any effect on the alignment because there is no adjustment on the struts. The struts are rigid mounted. The only way to do any adjustment to them is to replace the straight mounting bolts with offset camber bolts that allow camber change.
The toe is the only thing adjustable on the HHR, via the tie rod ends.

It's your choice about alignment. If you've never had it done in 150k miles, then by all means I would say do it. Most of the HHR's new were not perfectly aligned from the factory anyhow.

X2, and if you had an alignment done and then replace the LCA’s or tie rods yes then an alignment.
the rear bushings can throw the alignment off
