Unless someone corrects me......I don't believe revving the engine is cooling it down (the fan function is dependent on engine temperature and electronics.....not engine RPM).

You need to isolate 2 different ideas, as donbrew is suggesting.

Jumping the fan wires to a 12 volt source will determine if the fan is working. If not, after doing this, you know what the problem is. If the fan works, doing this, then it may be the fan relay.

Think I found my culprit!!:-)

Well I unplugged the fan and put the test light in it had my son crank the car and turn the air on, as soon as he did I had power to the fan!! I took the fan off put a 12 volt source to it and nothing!! So I hope this is my problem !! I'm picking a new one up at oreillys at 4 !! I'd like to thank everyone for there help and maybe this can help others!! I'll post if this fixes my problem!!

Well, sort of a correction Snoopy. The RPM moves more coolant through the radiator. I have noticed that phenomenon.

These things really don't move much coolant at idle, but if you rev it up with the cap off you will have an overflow.

So, you are correct that the fan is not doing the cooling.

The water pump is chain driven off the crankshaft so revs will increase the coolant flow somewhat.
