Pretty sure the clip is not a separate part from the hose.

makes sense. I ran out of daylight so I couldn’t figure out how to reattach it all. I don’t even know how something like that happens. Any input is greatly appreciated

On the engine side of the fire wall, that clip holds the clutch hose to the master cylinder

Here’s the non rusty clip disengaged

The "good" news is it is part of the clutch master cylinder. Some evidently come with the metal nipple, some don't.

Well it’s been a couple days

It’s been a couple days since I checked in with y’all, that’s cause I was waiting on a new cylinder to show up.. it comes tomorrow.. and a bleeder pump.
So I’m taking the master cylinder out right now so I can put the new one in asap and get everything put back together. But I ran into a little issue… how do I get this rod. And old cylinder out? I don’t wanna break any thing incase the new doesn’t come with something I destroy

It’s free from the pedal

And it’s rotated and loose on the outside through the firewall. But it seems like something is hanging up a little bit

Stumped

There’s literally nothing that should be holding this cylinder in here. It just won’t come out. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Look at the new one. It should give you a clue to what holds it in there.

Manual says rotate the clutch master cylinder one 1/4 turn clockwise and remove the cylinder from the vehicle. This is from the engine compartment side.
