The driver's seat is awful noisy creaking and groaning. Anyone experoence this?

Im taking the car in next week for the stuck key issue and asking about the noisy seat.

Use The Search And Type In Tsb U Should Find It There ..i Had That Problem A While Back And The Dealer Fixed It For Free As They Should .

 

Had this issue, there is a TSB on this, I believe it requires lubricating a couple spots to fix it.

Yep. mine creaks as well.

 

The Service Bulletin is #06-08-50-007 ............. involves lubricating the seat back pivot point.

 

Interesting, I had no idea there was a TSB on this. We just bought ours 2 weeks ago and it was squeaking when we test drove it. They had to fix a couple other things and took care of that at the same time.

 

I had the same problem,fixed by the dealer no charge.The Canuk!!

 

I hear a tiny popping noise while the car is in motion somewhere behind me. I'm pretty sure it's not the driver's seat, though sometimes I think that it might be on the driver's seat in some of the hard plastic behind it. I think it may be in the rear door someplace...perhaps a place where two pieces of the plastic meet and the stress of moving while driving make them pop just a touch. It's no big deal, really, especially when I drive alone, since I nearly always have the radio or CD on, but when I have someone with me and am driving more quietly, I hear it and have to pretend not to, so as not to start having the passenger get annoyed, too! Ahhh!

 

Besides the creaking of the seat, I also hear a rattling noise behind me. It sounds like a heat shield shield rattling but it may be seat springs, or something in the back.
