Got all the o rings out. The 2 round ones have some discoloration to them, I’m assuming from age. No nicks or apparent damage. Hopefully, they are just old and when the pipe got moved slightly from installing the exhaust manifold, it just did them in. New ones are ordered. Here is to hope.

The bottom one is my guess for the leak. It isn't round anymore.

So once I lube the o rings, will I be able to feel them setting where they should in the water pump and the other side?

From the video I posted, yes.
It's by feel a lot of the work because the exhaust manifold wasn't taken off.

oh, I took the exhaust manifold off. I couldn’t imagine doing it with the manifold on.

OK now that we all know what you did as far as the exhaust manifold.
If the tube does't seat, lining up other parts will be off.
What did you lube the seals with ?

nothing yet, parts are ordered and I am gonna put back together next week. I am going to use dex cool to live the rings with, as someone earlier said that’s what GM recommends.
