ahhh - quote Goodle Translate: Good evening people of Vancouver, Here is my problem my trailer lowers my battery pretty quickly when my HHR is stopped. My fillage some lights on the trailer are properly connected, the right YELLOW GREEN BROWN left for lumieres.BLANC ground. Is faudrais reprogram the computer because my hitch is newly installed?
Well, the translate didn't work that great LOL - but lets give it a go
Looks like you got the wiring figured out ok:
Black = Ground
Yellow = Left Turn Signal
Dark Green = Right Turn Signal
Brown = Tail Lights (always on) and licence plate light
There is no reprogramming that I am aware of to get it to work properly. I suspect that the problem you are having is that the lights on the trailer have increased the load on the flasher unit. With it overloaded, it will not flash the turn signals quick enough. Is that the problem you are having?
If so, you likely will need to install a relay tagged onto the turn signal sides so that the power for the turn signals come directly from the battery (with a fuse installed of course).
OR - there is a short somewhere in the system or the trailer is miswired.
does any of this help?
