The last time ut worked was 5 years ago i had an intoxolock put in my car. It has now been removed. And i riged the hood switch so it would think the hood is shut and the clicking i hear is starter silinod and the starter it self.. 06 hhr 2.4l and ap3

Not really sure why a new thread was started for this when it is just a continuation of the OP's original issues. This thread should be combined with the old one listed below so we will know all the previous info.

It stopped working when the interlock was installed, then it was probably not uninstalled correctly. I suspect that cutting a wire is involved in the installation, otherwise why care about the sobriety of the driver?

Do the lights flash?

By rigging the switch what do you mean? You know that it goes to the BCM right? It is not a simple on/off switch.

You want pin A open and pin B and pin C shorted. For cars without AP3 you ground the purple wire at the BCM to enable RS.

I am suspecting something to do with the theft control system. Check your PM, I will send something to read.

Possibly part of the disabler is grounding the pk/bk wire somewhere out of sight.

As you can see here; the starter either has power or it does not there is no way the solenoid can throttle the 12V.
