Blown head gasket-replaced...but timing chain just killed my motor.. Help

The electronics aren't really an obstacle. I helped my brother in law put a LT1 in a 58 Chevy. We used an aftermarket stand alone ECU. I've seen many swaps where they used the OEM computer/harness and attending electronics from the donor car.
