There may be a paper tag still visibleon one end of the head with a"broadcast" code on it. If it does post it up.

Found this on the valve cover. Looks like the engine code from looking at other 2.2L engine codes. Went onto carfax and they don't accept engine VINs. From my understanding you have to take this engine VIN to a dealer who will in turn back-track the VIN of the car the engine came out of and then you can use carfax. Any thoughts?

So the year of the engine manufacturing is April 21st 2000? Assuming "0" means 2000?

I think so. Get the number off the oil filter can for more specifics.

Doesn't the previous picture show the VVT solenoids ? If so, then I would think that "0" may stand for a 2010.

yeah, that would be more ideal.

I looked at the oil canister and it looks like it has the engine VIN # as what's on the
valve cover.

Here is a shot of my 2007 2.2 see the bolt head to the left of the PVC vent hose, that's the plug for the pipe nipple hose and bolt on yours
