Brake upgrade for HHR SS

I've read several post haven't really found what I'm looking for. What are the options for upgrading a non Brembo HHR SS? I'm going to be having a lot of power to the car and I want to add some extra braking ability. I've seen the StopTech evolution brake kit with calipers but it just looks like a painted factory caliper kit. I was also considering just doing the Brembo upgrade and was curious on the best place to buy the parts? Thanks in advance for any help!!!

buy the brembo's, new rotors and new brake lines, stockers get stretched with the big brake kit when turning
or like blue said, buy the whole big brake kit

The Brembo kit is cheaper,

12.25 inch Front Brake Kit with Brembo Calipers

But for a $100.00 the larger kit is worth the major whoa!!

However if you decide on the Brembo's send a PM to 07azhhr, he had a set for sale and it looks like he may still have them, per post #14 back in May

Whichever ones you get, just remember to spiff them up before installing.

You could also try the Corvette C5 setup.

The swap isn't too bad if you have a bunch of tools at your disposal.
Let me first say that this didn't go on a stock HHR. It is using a Hydro Boost system from an Astro Van mated up to a Corvette master cylinder. The stainless brake lines are not stock and the lines go thru a B&M line-lock system. The spindles have been reversed from right to left but that won't effect the braking. The brackets and spacers are made of 3/8" & 3/16" plate. The rotors are C4 Corvette and the calipers are C5. Of course the rotors need to be re-drilled to 5x110 mm. The concentric ring is machined out of 3/16" plate. I'm not sure if it will need a proportining valve or not as I haven't used the system yet.
