brakes

i just got "SVC BRAKE SYSTEM" message, does that mean its time for pads and rotors? seem kinda too soon for brakes, im at 11k miles now...

fluid level is ok and i havent seen any leaks yet. also, the messeage doesnt show anymore. i know if i take it in they wont find anything wrong cuz the message is nto showing now.

I have just under 11,000 miles . I have had that message twice, then it goes away. fluids ok and pads ok.

Had the same problem, but only when really cold (-30). Told dealer in the summer and they new of the problem. Replaced the master brake cylinder.

Take it in. Any brake related DTC's will be stored. They can scan and see history codes.

I got this too, at about 9000 miles, then it went away.
