Sorry, I just cannot imagine that any question about the valves remain to be answered after 60 pages (there is even a part about disconnecting the electrical connections, I think I remember pictures).

Best to stay with Genuine GM.

I ordered mine Friday, it will get installed the first warm day after it gets here. I don't have a garage so I have to work outside.

Meh, when I replaced mine a little over 1.5 years ago I broke the plastic retainer clip on the top of the solenoid plug. Never replaced it and have not had any issues.

It seems the part is made by Dorman that i ordered. . . and its for the sensor not the solenoid. . .:
