Camshaft position sensor location

Auto Zone had the GM/AC Delco 12679099 in stock for about $10 more than the best price I could find on-line. The screen on the old one was perfectly clean. I don’t think the hood was open for more than 15 minutes, and would have been half that if I didn’t have to wipe up oil from the old part that dripped everywhere due to my carelessness. Done and done by about 3:30. Upon starting, idle was immediately smooth again. Today if I get a minute I’ll put a meter on the old coil just out of curiosity.

P0010 does mean "circuit", (fried coils) P0011 means "performance", (dirty screen).

Yes, that’s why I only replaced the one solenoid valve. No reason to think the other one is about to fry.
