Can't find this part- 2009 2.2L knock sensor
Hello,
I'm completely new at replacing parts on my car. I need to replace my knock sensor (OBD code p0325) and I'm not sure which part exactly to get. I searched the local parts stores (AutoZone, Advance Auto, NAPA) and I'm not finding anything specific for the 2009 Chevy HHR 2.2 L LT. I don't want to choose something that's not going to fit.
The replacement job seems easy enough for a DIYer like myself (found the very informative how-to on this site). I just don't want to waste money on a part that's not compatible with my car. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Try this thread. It may help at least with the install.

Try your local GM dealer for the part - Autozone and Napa don't seem to carry replacement parts for the knock sensor.
Being that you are new to replacing parts on your car, and the install for the sensor is not exactly an easy job, you might be well advised to take it to a dealer.

I agree with the other members about contacting the parts department at your local Chevrolet dealership for the knock sensor. While you are there talk with the guys in the service department to see if they will share additional information to help you with this project.
I wish you all the best and I hope things will go smoothly.
