Car is going crazy!!

So i was looking at my fuse box looking to maybe to get power for my fog lights. Now its going crazy.

I was just checkin it out and trying to see how to take it apart, now my rear wiper runs when the switch isn;t on(cant turn it off), the rear defrost is on (can't turn it off), my ac don't work(can't turn it on). My front wipers came on half way and then stoped my lights nd signals don't work. And when i mess with the switch for the rear wiper it kills the car and turns off. Also my DIC flashes warnings of "power steering" and "Check Airbag".

Any one happen to know whats going on? I did not even connect anything or splice power from the fuse box.

any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

Can't believe 56 people looked at this post and no one has anything to say. Sounds like a short circuit some where - it may be prudent to get a dealer involved.

#58 I guess. Problems with this box are common. Did you seperate the two halves? Explain what you did besides look at it. I would make sure that the top is secured to the bottom by press down on the top half. You may be losing contact between the halves.

#1 are the fasteners that hold the two together.

And once you are sure you checked out everything as above, you could try a "re-boot". Disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes (leave the hatch up!) then reconnect.

Haven't been on since for a while. Yeah Did do all that listed even before making this thread. I finally got it back from the shop. I guess when messing with that fuse panel it didn't connect back up right, So it endend up shorting out half of the BCM. Replaced the BCM and a couple hours of labor sets me back 433 big ones.

Ouch!!!

i really want to upgrade my foglights. i think i will stay away from that box. if i wire them straight to the battery with a inline fuse , maybe this is a way to do it. but i have factory fogs. if i disconnect them , will that send a code??? did you get your lights fixed like you wanted???

well thats what kinda sucks is that i didnt even wire it up i was just checkin to see how it went together so when i got the connectors i would have figured it out already. I think you should be fine to do it the way the how to said. I didn't disconnet the battery when i took the two pieces apart. Do that and i think you should be good just cuz there have been many people with success.

I'm still going to hook up the fogs off the fuse panel when i get connectors for it.
