Car won't start after changing ECM
#11
I just checked; the 2 wires are low ref and signal. They both terminate at EBCM (the ABS controller). So that's the other place to look for bent broken wires.
That's the large module attached to the brake master cylinder where an old fart would expect to see a splitter.

I was just stating having a bad TPMS would be the same as low tire pressure.
Now since I'm not an old fart, what's a splitter?!

Sounds like your solution is putting in the OEM ECM and getting a new TPMS. Pretty simple and painless. If you want to get rid of that ECM I'll take it off your hands for what you paid for it. I can change the vin so I might to able to remote tune with it. 2.2 or 2.4?

I have checked and double checked the wiring under the car. I tested continuity from the connector at the sensor all the way to where it plugs in under the floorboard. Everything checks out. It seems most likely that a wiring issue would be under the car, not once it has gone through to the interior of the car, although it is plausible. Would I be correct in assuming the sensor malfunction is the cause of the Service ESC, and Service Traction? I was starting to think it was the opposite, the Service ESC is the cause of the ABS issue. Sort of like "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" Maybe I'll invest in a new TPMS and get that working and see what happens from there, but I don't see the connection between that and the ABS sensor not reading.

Oh, gotcha. I was assuming if the ECM didn't get any reading it would toss the code and light up the DIC with SERVICE ESC and SERVICE ABS. As a precaution

ABS can cause TC and ESC warnings. TPMS is as remote a possibility as the ECU.
If you are sure that the new hub has a good sensor in it, then the problem lies between the sensor and the EBCM, could be the EBCM is bad.
