Car wont start after remote starting
I have an 07 Chevy HHR . It has the factory installed remote starter. Today she turned the car on with the remote starter and it ran fine. She then went to start it and the car won't crank. I ran home to check it and the starter wont even engage or crank. All my lights come on and the dash panels light up and don't look weak. I just replaced the battery 2 weeks ago. She has driven since then so I don't suspect the alternator. Could the starter just finally have given up or is it too cold. We are in Chicago so -13F this morning and -20F yesterday. I am going to try and push it into my garage and heat it up and see if that solves the problem. Any other ideas would be helpful.
Thanks

most likely the cold, but check for any loose connections at the battery, I just boosted my friend Jeep Liberty with a month old battery and the connections were loose. it started right up after I tightened the cable terminals.
