CEL on (LPG)

CEL on (LPG)
Hello,
I am Luis From Portugal.
I have a Chevy HHR 2400 (2007) and it works on gaz and also on LPG.
It works very well on both situations.
Nevertheless, when on LPG the CEL is on.
Is this normal?
What to do?
Thank you in advance.
Luis

Welcome to the forum. Your post has been moved to a more appropriate section.
Without knowing wheat the code is that is generating the CEL - anything we say is likely just a wild guess.
So tell is what the code is and we will see what help we can provide.
FYI: LPG conversions are not at all popular here in the USA or Canada.

I would guess the answer is yes. The ECM has to be calibrated for LPG because it has a different oxygen content. Depending on the code it may harm the catalytic converter.
What to do: go to whoever did the conversion and did not complete the programming.
One of our members in Poland has a full conversion to LPG, maybe he will pop in and help.
