Did you disconnect the battery and let the system reset? Seems I've read we have to do that when changes are made to the intake......

No, it's just a hassle unloading the back of the wife's car. I may just let the extended warranty take care of it.

Any chance that one of the solenoid connectors for the cams located under the pass. side of the airbox, on top of the head came loose? That will throw a code and lead to rough shifting.

Sure would be nice if the DIC would have the capability of displaying the codes being generated.

So anyway...

Got a call from dealer on Friday saying the injectors were bad. I thought to myself, wrong, but if they want to put in new injectors, I'm not going to argue. Picked up car yesterday, this morning same issues, but worse, so back to the dealer!

all I can say is "Thank God for extended warranties!" We got a GM one when we bought the car new and it has come in very handy. It has paid for itself and we've still got 10k to go.

Sorry to hear about your troubles..... Tell GM the problem is someone stole 4 of your cylinders, and see if they can shoehorn an LSx motor for ya

Just got a call from the dealer saying the the throttle body is all "gunked up" with carbon. They want us to have it cleaned; $149.

My first impression is that the dealer is trying to get one over on me. But they say they haven't been able to duplicate the issue and on a test drive the only thing they find is rough idle and hesitation after a cold start.

Opinions?

Mileage?

If it needs to be cleaned, do it yourself.
