Ok, looks like about 8 threads you've started on this topic, all merged here now. There's nothing more we can do for you. Seriously, it's a $40 part. Get one, see if it fixes your problem. Or don't, and take your chances.

The SS model came with the new tensioner.

You will need a 32 mm socket and a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar.
